Brewing Methods
Best for: Espresso & French Press
El Dorado is roasted to be brew-method neutral, with enough structure for espresso and enough balance to shine in immersion brewing.
Espresso Approach
For espresso, El Dorado is designed to extract smoothly with a focus on sweetness and body rather than sharp acidity. We recommend brewing it as a reliable, daily espresso. It's the coffee you always want to go back to.
French Press
In a French press, El Dorado delivers a fuller, rounder cup with a smooth finish. Use a coarse grind and allow enough contact time to let the sweetness develop. This method highlights the blend’s comfort and approachability.
Why it Works?
El Dorado is built to be dependable. Whether pulled as espresso or brewed by immersion, it remains balanced and easy to drink — exactly as a house coffee should.
How To Store Coffee?
When sealed and kept at room temperature, coffee can be stored for 1–2 months.
Once the bag is opened, its shelf life decreases significantly. That’s why we recommend buying only as much as you’ll use within one to two weeks. After grinding, coffee loses its freshness quickly – not over days, but within minutes. For the best flavor, grind just before brewing.
Coffee can also be stored in the freezer in its original sealed bag for up to six months.
Just make sure there are no strong odors nearby, as coffee easily absorbs external smells. Freezing is a valid option, but the beans should only be defrosted once – ideally at room temperature over 10–12 hours. Do not refreeze.
