Brewing Methods
Best for: Pour-Over
Wahata Natural is best brewed slowly and intentionally.
Pour-Over Approach
This coffee benefits from controlled extraction and even pouring. Use a medium grind and allow the coffee to open up gradually. The result is a cup with depth and character, without becoming heavy or overpowering.
Why it Works?
This is a coffee for moments when you want to slow down slightly, but still remain within Cast Iron’s balanced and drinkable style.
How To Store Coffee?
When sealed and kept at room temperature, coffee can be stored for 1–2 months.
Once the bag is opened, its shelf life decreases significantly. That’s why we recommend buying only as much as you’ll use within one to two weeks. After grinding, coffee loses its freshness quickly – not over days, but within minutes. For the best flavor, grind just before brewing.
Coffee can also be stored in the freezer in its original sealed bag for up to six months.
Just make sure there are no strong odors nearby, as coffee easily absorbs external smells. Freezing is a valid option, but the beans should only be defrosted once – ideally at room temperature over 10–12 hours. Do not refreeze.
